The four elements in the architecture - Part III

We are a 80% water. Along with the air is what keeps us alive. Fundamental in our network drinking and health, also in the irrigation and pools. While we should not deprive us of their use have to be aware of rational use of it, but the water in architecture is much more.

If we look back over history there have been many ways of introducing water into the architectural design and theme gardens was the most developed. In the mythical Arab garden, where water scarcity translate into sophisticated compositions, highlights the subtlety with which it is treated the precious liquid. In the Italian Renaissance, the water was an abundant element that, combined with the rugged terrain, resulting in dynamic elements such as waterfalls, fountains or ponds that contributed to create focal points. During the French Baroque tried to reproduce these dynamic effects, but in a completely flat landscape, situation that led to the development of technologies and hydraulic systems applied to landscape design. By contrast, the English romantic garden model reproduced the natural way to incorporate landscape design. At present, highlights the search for a conquest of the landscape by the public. The sources, water trails and ponds continue to have a sculptural and decorative, but now enjoys the entire population.

When it comes to Feng Shui, the adequate incorporation of water is a unique opportunity to design a house in equilibrium with their environment not only its people but to ensure success, health and harmony. Qi is retained and activated with water, and the way water is incorporated bring prosperity, and other financial breaks.

When we talk about rational use of water we automatically refer to the control and management of water consumption. This is a concept included in the general policies for the management of renewable natural resources associated with sustainable development must allow the use of resources, in this case water efficiently guaranteed quality, preventing its degradation in order not to compromise or risk its future availability.

buildings incorporating sustainable design strategies not only with regard to comfort and energy savings, but also the use and reuse of water. Globally, an estimated 40% of potable water is used for health system performance in buildings with high wastage. Because of this, at first this waste is restricted by manual and automated devices in the sanitary ware. Yet consumption continues to grow.

Sustainable design seeks to incorporate in buildings systems that collect, accumulate and distribute rainwater. After being used for purposes other than drinking, is separated into specific drains, which lead to treatment tanks and then returned to mix with rain water. Of Thus, except for drinking water, hygiene and cooking, the rest goes into a permanent cycle of recycling.

water brings much to the architecture, the main condition for the consumer, also the main constructive element in the development of materials gives leisure pools and no doubt such poetry brings new sensations which are experienced space, light, sound, and the hygrothermal environment are the main factors. DREAMS OF YOUTH

Youth Housing was planned for young people who want to access their first home. Alibert brothers, Marcelo and Jorge, both architects, tell us about their innovative proposal.

"Conceptually accommodation for young people" ... is excited Marcelo Alibert, while his imagination runs into the beginning of the project and enter the world of entrepreneurs.

“El course lasted six months and changed the way we deal with the way we work "is sincere Jorge Alibert, and remember that both were unaware of the existence of this space offered by the city.

"Our way of working, basically confessed, was that always meet customers' specific request and we saw that during certain tools, we facilitated a methodology that we oiled our mode of operation ... and also the knowledge gained made us adjust the search for financing. " "We saw the most global business," added convinced.

Jorge received in 1995, while in 1998 did the same Marcelo. Thereafter, diploma in hand, the crisis of 2001 left their jobs and began their pilgrimage as informal workers, a situation that led to join forces and intelligence to produce projects together: "We are not joined by love, we joined the terror" ensure humorous today.

consider also the entrepreneurial experience allowed them to build new options framework and to consider other priorities. At this point Marc Alibert notes carefully that "training allowed us to see the building as a product, develop a better market analysis and deal with legal issues, always subordinabamos specialists."
website also suffered corrections and reconfigurations when they understood that marketing and advertising could help them in their new venture. On this constant drain of assimilation Jorge Alibert is satisfied.

the note was excited, and they are scored for the second phase of training under the name of the Entrepreneur Guidance Centre (EOC) is carrying out the Under Secretary for Economic Development of city government.

on what they expect from this new body of learning, expressing that want to dwell more on strengthening the business plan and the ability to obtain financing.

Finally, Youth Housing Project was designed to develop in Federal Capital. Thus the most advanced building development is in the neighborhood of Villa Urquiza, more precisely in the streets and Pampa Malvinas fighters.

While there is already an agreement with developers in the area and the investment group that bought the land, the preliminary and design together with cost analysis are now complete.

Youth Housing Buenos Aires does not have a defined identity as may occur with homes in Boca or San Telmo. In both its environmental impact will be low to medium taking into account that the structure will house a few floors, and each house will have garages. If everything goes on its rails Completion is expected in 2011.

Alibert For brothers ultimately managed training potential new revival forced to seek other sources of innovations to improve the quality of product on offer.
